A few months ago I recieved the LightBlue Bean. I was amazed how small it is, battery powered and it even has a lot of pads which you can use for custom cirquits. You can program an Arduino sketch, which then can operate autonomous. Programming is done via Bluetooth Low Energy. Onboard there is an accelerometer and an RGB led.
It is a commercial, but I think they deserve to get some attention.
More information will follow. I am still struggling with some issues, mainly bcos I don’t understand BLE sufficient, but I hope to speed things up soon. For BLE I am already making an analysis too which I described on another place.
